	Description		Input Value	Remarks
	Project Piping Characteristics		Easy Medium Hard	An 'Easy' piping project typically has a horizontal equipment arrangement with plenty of plot space, uses common equipment such as pumps and heat exchangers, and has an average pipe size between 3" and 6". A 'Hard' piping project might be one that has a tight plot space with numerous vertical structures, uses less common equipment such as reformers and large towers, and has an average pipe size either substantially larger or smaller than 3" to 6".
	Piping Engineering Cost Factor			Piping Engineering cost is based on Gulf Coast USA rates as of January, 2001 for senior piping designers.
	Piping Engineering Efficiency Factor			Piping Engineering efficiency is based on Gulf Coast USA piping designers with over 20 years of experience.
	Pipe Fabrication Cost Factor			Fabrication cost factors are assumed to be '1' if one of the major USA piping fabricators is used. All welded pipe is assumed to be shop fabricated (in other words, large bore and small bore is shop).
	Pipe Construction Cost Factor			Piping construction cost is based on Gulf Coast USA rates as of January, 2001 for journeyman pipe fitters.
	Pipe Construction Efficiency Factor			Pipe Construction efficiency is based on Gulf Coast USA pipe fitters with over 20 years of experience. Maximum shop fabrication is assumed.
	Client Factor			Let's face it, some clients are more difficult than others, and that can raise the installed piping cost.
	Piping Total Installed Cost			Total Installed Cost based on the assumptions above and the material takeoff quantified in the table below.
