PPD PROCESS PLANT LAYOUT includes online review, exam for PPD Level III Certification and Application for Certification fee. This Review is for pipers with five plus years of experience and covers the terminology and concepts needed for equipment layout within the process plant. This includes equipment placement, spacing and orientation. It also includes pipe routing to key equipment nozzles considering operations and maintenance. The topics covered are chosen to prepare for the SPED Professional Piping Designer Level III Certification test. Review and exam cover Introduction to process plant design, design phases & information, General layout considerations, Plant layout specification, Instrumentation, Pump layout, Compressors, Drums, Furnaces, Heat exchangers, Distillation towers, Reactors, Plant structures, Underground piping, Pipe racks, Introduction to pipe stress and B31.3, Tanks, and CAD.
